1. Who we are
DHARA is operated by Calviltech Digital Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Pune, Maharashtra, India (“DHARA”, “we”, “us”), with engineering support from MSafe Solutions Inc. Where applicable, Calviltech acts as the data fiduciary/controller for personal data processed by the DHARA service.
2. What we may collect
- Website registration: name, email, optional mobile number, State/UT, preferred language and whether you are a citizen, advocate or organisation. Professional or institutional registration can include practice or organisation details.
- Visitor Mode: the questions you submit and limited technical/session data needed to deliver the service and prevent abuse. Visitor Mode does not require your name or phone number.
- Registered accounts: account identifiers, language, plan/entitlement status and content you choose to save.
- Voice: if you use voice features, audio may be processed to convert speech to text or produce spoken output. DHARA’s product direction is to minimise retention of raw voice and to avoid continuous cloud listening.
- Documents and evidence: if you scan, upload or save documents, images, recordings or other evidence, DHARA processes those items to provide the requested workflow. Evidence features may store integrity metadata such as hashes and timestamps.
- Guardian / safety features: if you explicitly start a location-based safety session, DHARA may process location, route/check-in events, battery/network status and Trusted Circle configuration needed for that session. Adult tracking is intended to be opt-in, visible and stoppable.
3. Why we use data
- To answer legal-information queries and show supporting sources.
- To create documents, saved matters, reminders and requested action journeys.
- To operate user-authorised safety and Guardian sessions.
- To provide professional or institutional access and support.
- To secure the service, detect misuse and debug failures.
- To improve quality using appropriately de-identified or aggregated information where permitted and configured.
4. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to advertisers.
- We do not build the service around third-party behavioural advertising.
- We do not intend Guardian to enable covert adult partner or employer tracking.
- We do not represent Evidence Locker integrity metadata as a guarantee of court admissibility.
5. Service providers and AI processing
DHARA may use hosting, authentication, communications, storage, mapping/location, speech, OCR or AI model providers acting as service providers. DHARA’s architecture is designed to minimise the data sent to each provider and to restrict sensitive workflows by role and purpose. As production providers are finalised, DHARA may publish or update a subprocessors list.
6. Retention and user control
Retention depends on the feature you use. Visitor sessions, saved matters, evidence and Guardian sessions can have different retention needs. We aim to keep personal data only as long as necessary for the requested service, security, legal obligations or a user-selected retention setting. Where available, users can request correction, export or deletion through the product or by contacting us.
7. Security
DHARA uses or is implementing controls such as encrypted transport, encrypted storage, least-privilege access, role-based permissions, audit logging, data minimisation and isolated execution for higher-risk backend workflows. No service can guarantee perfect security.
8. Children and dependants
Guardian-managed features for minors or dependants require separate relationship, consent and age-appropriate controls. DHARA should not be used to create covert surveillance of another adult.
9. Your choices and requests
For access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal or other privacy requests, email dhara@msafesolutions.com with the subject “Privacy request”.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as DHARA’s production features, providers and legal obligations change. Material changes will be reflected by the updated date and, where appropriate, communicated to registered users.
